You can write about how much you love your smile or about your personality. Whatever it is, use this letter to love on yourself and shower yourself full of love!
Have a Spa Day
Spa days are always super fun and relaxing. You can create your own at-home spa or splurge on a real spa experience. Either way, you deserve to pamper yourself. Something that I really love is a good sheet mask. There are so many on the market that you will definitely find the perfect sheet mask for you. I also love putting the mask in the freezer for about 10 minutes. When I put it on my face I feel like I am in paradise. You can also run a nice hot bubble bath with candles aswell. I definitely enjoy hot bubble baths after a long day.
Make Your Own DIY Scrub
Creating your own diy sugar scrub goes along with having a great spa experience. I put creating your own sugar scrub in its own category because exfoliating can be very relaxing. You can use your favorite oils and fragrances to create the perfect scrub that is best for you. When I use sugar scrub I almost feel like I am giving myself a mini massage and my skin is left feeling super soft and smooth.
Buy Yourself a Gift
I am a firm believer in spoiling yourself from time to time. As a mom, a lot of time I would rather buy for my kids than myself. But when I actually spoil myself from time to time it makes me feel so good. Spoiling yourself could be something small like buying your favorite Starbucks drink or that cute handbag that you saw at the mall last week. Either way, spoiling yourself will leave you feeling very special.
Bake Yourself Something Sweet
Sweet treats are great to indulge in, especially on Valentine’s Day! You work really hard and you deserve to enjoy a nice dessert from time to time. Baking can also be really relaxing and it is super fun to create different cute treats.

I really love being creative so when I find spare time I really enjoy painting, coloring in an adult coloring book, or even making jewelry with my daughter. There is something so relaxing about playing in makeup. For me, I love to turn on a good television show and have fun creating a new makeup look. Eye shadow has a great way of brightening up your eyes and pulling your whole look together. Step out of the box and use colors that you would never think to use. Once you get all glam take a few pictures of yourself and go somewhere nice.
Get Dolled Up
Along with playing it makeup, Valentine’s Day is a great time to get super cute. When you pour into yourself, you have a way of feeling your best from the inside out. You don’t have to get super fancy, but wear something that you would not ordinarily wear and go somewhere special!
Cook Your Favorite Meal
When I cook, I usually choose something easy or something that my family likes. But every once in a while I like to make something that I enjoy. Valentine’s Day is a perfect time to make your favorite meal. This is also a great idea if you do not necessarily have the money to eat out at a restaurant. Have someone cook your favorite or you can make it yourself. Either way, take out your special dinner plates and enjoy a nice meal that you love.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking yourself out for a nice meal. I really love going to different brunch restaurants. There is something about a nice brunch spot that makes me feel really good. There are some brunch places that are decorated so pretty that they serve as the perfect Instagram photo backdrop. You can go by yourself or take a friend with you. Just get all dolled up and treat yourself to a nice meal and a mimosa!
Make a Valentine Charcuterie Board of all Your Favorite Treats
Charcuterie boards are all the craze right now. Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to create your very own charcuterie board filled with everything that you love. You can go for the standard cheeses, meats, and fruits or you can make a super cute charcuterie board with super cute Valentine treats that you love. This day is all about you so use this day to indulge in all the things you love.
Unplug for the Day
Simply unplugging for the day is a great way to show yourself self-love. You should already unplug from time to time, but Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to do this. Have someone watch over the kids and cook dinner. Use this time to turn off your phone (If you can), disconnect from social media, relax, take a nap, meditate, read a good book, reflect on your life, etc… There is so much that you can do. Unplugging is great for your mental health and will leave you feeling your best.
