1. Vitamin C

Vitamin C is not only healthy for our bodies but also really healthy for our skin as well. Incorporating a facial Vitamin C into our skincare is important year-round. Vitamin C helps even out your complexion, tightens your skin, reduces skin inflammation, and so many other great benefits. There are so many options on the market when it comes to Vitamin C. There are great high-end options as well as drugstore options that you can choose from.
2. Facial SPF

Facial sunscreen is another product that should be worn year-round, but especially during spring and summer. Sunscreen helps protect our skin from the harmful rays of the sun. Most people don’t think to apply sunscreen on their faces on a daily basis, but sunscreen should be a part of your everyday morning routine. Some foundations have SPF inside, but there are also SPFs that are lightweight and to be used underneath foundation as well.
3. Primer

Primer is great for creating a smooth application process when it comes to makeup. Primer is particularly important during warmer months because it allows my makeup to last longer without having to worry about it melting off. I really like using a mattifying primer during spring and summer because it helps keep my oily skin controlled. There are so many primers on the market to help fit your skin needs. If your skin is more on the dryer side, you can choose a hydrating primer that will give you a nice natural makeup finish.
4. Tinted Moisterizer or BB Cream

During spring and summer, some foundations can be really heavy for your skin. If you want to have something lightweight and something that gives a little coverage, a tinted moisturizer or BB cream is a great option. If you are going to the beach or the pool and don’t want to wear a lot of makeup, tinted moisturizers are a great option to help you feel put together. All you need is a little setting powder to help it last throughout the day. You can also add a little concealer to help hide dark eye circles.
5. Setting Powder

Setting powder is a must for me all year, but it is definitely essential for me during this time of year. Like I stated above, setting powder sets your makeup in place to help it last longer. Setting powder also helps keep foundation from settling into your fine lines, which helps you look younger.
6. Dewy/Glowy Blush

Blush is probably one of my favorite things when it comes to beauty essentials. Blush does a great job of helping my face feel alive. It also adds dimension to my face and keeps it from looking flat. I really love using blush during the spring because the winter weather has a tendency of making my face look washed out. Using blush helps adds extra warmth to my face which is perfect for spring! Blushes can come in liquid, powder, or cream. Choosing the right blush for you depends on your skin type. For oily skin, powder blushes work great. For dry to normal skin types, you can use a liquid or cream blush that will give you that natural flushed tone.
7. Bronzer

Bronzer is another beauty essential for spring and summer because it adds warmth and color to your face. The cold winter weather can leave your face washed out and one tone, so bronzer gives you that warmth and dimension that the natural hot summer weather gives you. I love that there are so many bronzers to choose from. You can choose a liquid or a powder bronzer, and there are so many shades to fit every skin tone.
8. Highlighter

Highlighter is a popular staple beauty items for spring and summer. Wearing highlighter gives you that natural glowy look, and it also accentuates certain parts of your face that you want to bring attention to. If you love your cheek bones, wearing a highlighter on the upper part of your cheek bone will accentuate that area.
A lot of people do not want to wear highlighter because it can be intimidating. As with all makeup, there are so many highlighters that you can choose from. You can choose from highlighters that will give you a subtle and natural glow. Or you can choose highlighters that give you a lof of shine. No matter what your preference is, highlighters are a great staple to have during spring and summer.
9. Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow is another beauty product that I like using during time. I love giving my eyes a little wash of color. Eyeshadow can be intimidating but if you take a makeup brush and apply a color close to your skin tone that can be good enough. You can also apply a shimmer color to your eyelid for a nice sparkly look. Either way, applying eyeshadow does not have to be hard and it’s a great way to add some color to your face.
10. Makeup Setting Spray

I like using makeup setting spray to help my makeup last during the warmer months. Makeup setting spray sets your makeup and helps finish your look. If you have oily skin, you can choose a mattifying setting spray to keep your oils at bay. If you prefer a natural glow, you can always choose a dewy setting spray.
11. Lip Stain

If you want to add color to your lips without wearing lipstick, you can always choose a lip stain. Lip stains are super lightweight and they give a nice tint to your lips. I really like wearing lip stains in the summer because they give me that freshly bitten look that is perfect for spring and summer. As with any makeup product, there are so many colors that you can choose from.
12. Spring Fingernail Polish

I love wearing pastel or bright color fingernail polish for spring and summer. I look forward to changing my nail polish from the holiday cranberry red to bright warm colors to fit the change of season. Giving my nails a fresh color really does get me ready for the nice warm weather. The great things about nails is that you can choose multiple colors to give your nails a cute look.

These beauty essentials will definitely leave you ready for spring and summer. I really love switching up my beauty products for each season. It is so much fun to change up my everyday beauty routine. I hope you find these products useful!
